Fáilte,
Welcome to another version of the Cleveland Irish Music Newsletter. Autumn (Fómhar, pronounced foh-ahr) is with us, and we just had one of the best fall weekends in memory. What better time to grab a pint ‘o the black and listen to some Irish music. A couple of national acts will be visiting our fair city in the next month or two and there are local acts playing every Thursday thru Sunday.
* Stand from Dublin return again to the Beachland Tavern on Tuesday, October 18th. Opening will be Cleveland’s The Craic Brothers as well as The Damn Choir from Chicago. * A couple of nights later, Enter the Haggis and Scythian share the stage at the Beachland Ballroom on Oct.21st. * Flatfoot 56 will be back again November 10th at the Grog Shop. If you haven’t seen this hard-working Chicago Irish-punk band yet, make sure to check them out. * Look for new albums out from Flogging Molly and Gaelic Storm. Here is the local Irish Music Schedule for October and November:
