This was an attempt to categorize all Gill Families living in Cleveland, Ohio between 1850-1920. Records were derived from Cuyahoga County Census (Ancestry.com), Ohio Death Index, Cleveland Necrology Files, Cuyahoga County Probate Marriage Records, and other local sources.

This collection was put together from various sources as I tried to connect or eliminate various Gills from my family tree. I did not try to locate all sources of information for each individual, especially if they weren't connected to my family. I did try to copy the source into the notes section but was very sloppy when it came to citing my sources. Sorry about that! There will be some errors in here, but I felt that the work here could help others so I posted it. I will try to correct errors as I find them or you can email me with your corrections.
