Thomas is 54 years old, immigrated in 1885, was naturalized in 1893, and is a watchman for a pumping station. Mary is 45 years old. Thomas is 23, Bessie is 18, Bernice is 16, and Irma is 10. Thomas is a fireman, Bessie is still a book binder for a printing company, and Bernice and Irma attend school. · In the 1930 census, Thomas is still living at 6013 Linwood Ave. along with his wife Mary and their 8 children. Thomas is 70 years old while Mary is 62 years old. They own their house valued at $11,000. He is still a watchman with the city. Their daughter Irma is 20 and still lives with them. She is a typist at the court house. |
